Frozen Shoulder Range of Motion
In today’s video, we’re going to be demonstrating what a frozen shoulder looks like. A frozen shoulder is where the shoulder gets so tight, it’s range of motion is lost. It’s like capsulitis, but only to a much greater extent. Now, a normal shoulder will have an excellent range of motion, almost universally. But in somebody who has a frozen shoulder, and she is going to pretend she has a frozen shoulder on her right side: that’s all she goes to, I can’t push it up any further, because her shoulder is frozen. Also, when external rotating: that’s all she comes to, she can’t externally rotate any distance past here. This is what a frozen shoulder looks like. Also during this test, the patient should have pain with the with the exam.
